We hired Manfred/Mirage Art Photography to photograph our October 7, 2023 wedding. From start to finish, he was extremely professional, very pleasant to work with and flexible with all of the details. Our wedding was informal, under 30 people and in a non-traditional location (an inn/historic property and not an event facility). We didn't want the posed, "fantasy" type shots that are popular now...we wanted good documentary photography that showed the emotion and flow of our day. We are both photographers and bended to family pressure to have the wedding early in the day, which we didn't want because morning/early afternoon lighting can be harsh and difficult for photos. Manfred assured us that he could make it work, and he did. He exceeded our expectations and delivered exactly what we were looking for in the memories of our day. We have at least one photo showing every guest (including our dog begging) and many authentically romantic photos of us that we didn't know he took. He even put together a video of our day, which was an awesome surprise that we didn't expect. We had no idea he was running any video! When you're getting married, you're caught up in the moment and don't remember specifics of your ceremony, and it was really great to sit down together later and relive it from the perspective of our guests. If you are looking for a documentary photographer for your event, you won't be disappointed with Manfred. We highly recommend him and would work with him again if the opportunity arose.
