A one year journey of Manfred (an international photojournalist) traveling by van across America in 2021 to capture and document in video, pics and blog the pulse of communities and issues that touch us. After the year is completed, I plan to place a film documentary on a streaming service to give us a glimpse of who we are as one Nation.

Well, Thursday is the day I will leave on my second leg of my trip. The road will take me about 3,300 miles across some of the the Western States of our Nation: More details here >>
Route #2 April 2021
My first stop will be in “Big Bend National Park”. I thought it would be easy to find a camping spot in the vast area of the park. But NOT so! Everything was booked. First I thought it was because of Easter, but in looking closer at the booking calendar of the camping places, I noticed that the accommodations are booked well into the late summer.
Luckily I came across a fantastic facility: “Terlingua Ranch”
which is about 20 miles from Big Bend National Park.
It is an over 425 acres ranch and the best thing is the PRICE! The camping spot, including electricity and water hook-up is $30.00/night.
