A one year journey of Manfred (an international photojournalist) traveling by van across America in 2021 to capture and document in video, pics and blog the pulse of communities and issues that touch us. Hello my friends:
I returned last month after a very long 3rd trip. There were many, many fantastic experiences along the way. I was able to capture great pictures of the people who live in our great Nation; amazing landscapes and I took many film interviews to identify what we know as Americans for the upcoming movie.
The hardest part of this documentary project is to catalog all the pics and film clips into orderly folders, so it will be easier to work with them later on. And along with that task, I delayed this newsletter because of the tedious work in cataloging I had to do for almost three weeks. So, I am sorry for the delay.
Excited about my upcoming book:
At the moment I am working on the layout for my upcoming Coffee Table Book. It will be a beautiful 60 page (8.5″/11″) book filled with stunning, meaningful and thoughtful photos of my journey and shall serve as a time capsule and documentary of 2021. I believe there is no other book on the market that captured the sentiments of the American people and their life in 2021.
The book will be finished / printed by the middle of November and it will be the perfect Christmas gift!

As I covered most of the USA, I missed out on our city that is known for its vibrancy all over our world: NEW YORK CITY. Upon my return, I will include the pictures of New York and the people and the book will go into print.
For this trip by the end of September, I will not drive my beloved van “The Mystic”, but I will fly and capture the hustle and bustle of New York in pictures and film. And as always, you can follow me on my FB page “Manfred Schreyer”
